Jason Kenning graduated from Creighton University in 2007 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts and a Co-major in Philosophy. He frequently combines those intellectual interests into his drawings, paintings, and sculptures beginning with his BFA show “Pluralism." His work is driven by a love for many types of artistic media. Subjects often include abstract, figurative, and portrait studies. Together, they illustrate the emotional and the narrative possibilities of his art.
The prints on display here are from his exhibition "Nevermind the Weather." This show is inspired by the ecology of our digital lives. The pieces are a reflection on the way we consume technology, how it alters the environment, and how individual choices affect our complex ecosystem.
Artwork exhibited in Cornelius Vision Clinic can be purchased for $50.00 USD.
